Literature Text

They´re coming
A stampede of Nature's caprices
They´re fast and they´re hunting
visceral acting like Nature´s forces

Relentless, a flood of Death
Life take his last breath
For this fight, we shall bleed
And we will become their meed

This last day, believe me will end in this violence
It´s our task, this finale combat against nature
Death and Pain, this fight is assured
until their screams will vanish into silence
doubtless thoughts, unto our demise is sure

Its not ours, this world
Planets aren´t given to its heirs
but human conceit will cause their fall
This World, drowned in battle, its theirs!
About Tyranids, Eldar and Imperium.
Written a bit to the melody of the song 'Doomsday' from Globus.

"Life takes his last breath."
"It´s our task, this final combat against nature."
"It's not ours, this world."
"This World, drowned in battle, it's theirs!"
I appreciate how the poem seems to be building up to something. The choice of words, the structure, the style -- it all adds up to a very distinct feeling of a final battle. Also, the flow of the stanzas somehow give off the atmosphere of a chant, which then reaches its climax. Of course, it can still be improved upon; but it is a good work, nonetheless.

Have a good day,
